The Oven Revival Co. – Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions

  • “Company”, “we”, “us” refers to The Oven Revival Co.

  • “Customer”, “you” refers to the person booking the service

  • “Service” refers to oven, BBQ, or appliance cleaning carried out by us

2. Bookings

  • Bookings can be made via phone, website, or messaging.

  • A booking is confirmed once agreed by both parties.

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking at our discretion.

3. Pricing

  • All prices are quoted as “from” and may vary depending on:

    • Size and type of appliance

    • Level of soiling

    • Additional services requested

  • Final price will be confirmed on inspection before work begins.

  • Payment is due in full upon completion unless otherwise agreed.

4. Access & Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to the appliance

  • Ensure the appliance is in working order (unless agreed otherwise)

  • Remove personal items from the area prior to arrival

  • Ensure suitable parking is available where possible

  • Ensure access to a power socket where possible

We reserve the right to refuse service if:

  • Conditions are unsafe

  • The appliance poses a risk (e.g. gas leaks, electrical faults)

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule.

  • Late cancellations may incur a charge.

  • Missed appointments (no access/no answer) may be charged.

6. Condition of Appliances

  • We clean appliances to the best possible standard using professional, non-caustic products.

  • Some staining, discolouration, or wear may be permanent and not removable.

  • We cannot guarantee a “like new” finish in all cases.

7. Pre-Existing Faults & Damage

  • We are not liable for:

    • Pre-existing faults or damage

    • Parts that fail during or after cleaning due to age or condition

  • This includes (but not limited to):

    • Thermostats

    • Elements

    • Door seals

    • Bulbs

If we identify an issue, we will inform you where possible.

8. Breakages

  • While every care is taken, accidental damage must be reported within 24 hours of the service.

  • Liability is limited to repair or replacement of the affected part where appropriate.

9. Use of Chemicals

  • We use professional, non-caustic cleaning products.

  • However, you must inform us of:

    • Allergies

    • Sensitivities

    • Pets or vulnerable individuals in the property

10. Payment Terms

  • Payment methods accepted: cash, bank transfer, card (adjust as needed)

  • Payment is due immediately after the service unless agreed otherwise.

  • Late payments may be pursued.

11. Satisfaction

  • If you are not satisfied, you must notify us within 24 hours.

  • We will aim to resolve any issues promptly.

 

12. Liability

  • We carry appropriate public liability insurance.

  • Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided.

13. Cancellations by Us

  • We may reschedule due to:

    • Illness

    • Vehicle issues

    • Weather or unforeseen circumstances

  • We will provide as much notice as possible.

 

14. Photos & Marketing

  • We may take before/after photos for:

    • Quality control

    • Marketing purposes

  • No personal or identifying details will be shared without consent.

15. Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

16. BBQ & Outdoor Appliance Cleaning

  • Customers must ensure:

    • Appliance is cool before service

    • Access to outdoor water if required

  • We are not responsible for:

    • Weather-related delays

    • Rust or corrosion revealed during cleaning
